Many times, we overlook the importance of our
data until it's too late. It's difficult to make a goodwill assessment of our information assets unless we either simulate a real disaster and walk ourselves through it... or if a disaster actually happens. Another thing we tend to take for granted is our information backup. Just because we back up, doesn't mean we will be able to recover our data in case it's needed.

With this in mind, we are offering a simple yet effective way to perform a small back up assessment and disaster recovery simulation. Note that this is a simplified version intended to help readers with their home or home office computer and does not take into account downtime, Client/Server configurations and other factors important to businesses.
